I started taking this class a little less than a year ago. I keep coming back because of the way Lisa teaches. She meets each one of us where we are at, letting our personal goals guide her instruction, and creates a uniquely collaborative experience for us as students, not only challenging us towards visible progress in our skills during each class, but forming the kind of creative community that fuels our inspiration and motivation.

Lisa is a rare gem of an instructor. I’m always amazed at how well she dials in on our unique strengths and customizes classes around where each of us is individually at. She’s done wonders for improving my painting technique in just a few months. She’s also helped me begin to develop my own artistic judgment, so that I can start to self correct and apply her lessons when painting outside of class. She’s one in a million and a really important guide on my painting journey.
